JCYCN Successfully Celebrated International Day of the Girl Child in Collaboration with Various Organisations in Nawalparasi

On 27th of October 2017 the second girl’s summit was held successfully in Nawalparasi.The program was organized by Jagriti Child and Youth Concern Nepal (JCYCN) and Garden of Hope Foundation, in collaboration with the Asian Girl Campaign, Jagriti Child Club Nepal (first child club in Nepal), CZOP, VSO, Nepal Friendship Society, IPYG, Youth for Change, Child Nepal, Consortium, Swatantra Abhiyan, Child Development society, Global Action Nepal and other organizations working in the children’s sector. Our media partners included, Devchuli television, Mukundhasen television, Tribeni television, radio Parasi, radio Sunwal, Darpan FM, Madhyabindu FM, Samarthya FM, radio Kawasoti, radio Happy, Daunne weekly, City Sandesh online, Best Media Ltd, Samrthya online, Nawalpur radio, Saikshik Jagaran monthly, Kantipur National Daily E- Nepali Khabar, Samarthya weekly etc.The Summit was a two-day program. International Youth Day 2017: Youth Building Peace

Fun Fete for the Cause “Internet Security for Children”

On Saturday, 2nd September, UNICEF, in collaboration with Jagriti Child and Youth Concern Nepal (JCYCN), Nepal Telecom, CWIN, and other several organizations, launched a #net4good campaign in Rastriya Sabha Griha, to raise awareness on keeping children safe online.

Distribution of Relief Materials in Rautahat District

7th September, Rautahat, Gaur

Since June, 37 districts in Nepal have been impacted by flood and landslide. Rautahat is one of the districts that was heavily affected with 40,000 affected households. There were 16 casualties among which, 5 were children. The floods inundated more than a dozen villages in Rautahat. Although the flood water has receded, there are significant concerns about the possibility of disease outbreaks after the floods, with affected people facing difficulties in accessing adequate health care.

Global Youth Leaders Forum 2017, with 13 point declaration

On the occasion of International Youth Day 2017, Global Youth Leaders Forum has been organized from 8-10th August 2017 at Dhulikhel by Jagriti Child and Youth concern Nepal (JCYCN) in collaboration with Track Nepal, YFWP and National Youth Council and the coordinating  partner organizations were Concern Society Nepal, Creative Society Nepal, YSP, Yuwalaya, and ESDO. Similarly, the international partners for the program are IPYG, International Youth Federation (IYF) and YSP along with media partner Image channel.
