Awareness goat farming training organized in Devchuli municipality, ward no. 6 by Jagriti Child
and Youth Concern Nepal (JCYCN) with support of Kinder in Nepal under ward president,
Minbahadur Soti is successfully completed.
Jagriti Child and Youth Concern Nepal (JCYCN) working for the youth advocacy and child
protection organized goat farming awareness program and goat distribution program. During
training session, 40 goats, goat kid and he-goat was distributed to 20 families. With 16 female
and 5 male, 29 farmers attended the training session. The training was facilitated by JCYCN’s
advisor Khilmandh Bhusal and, GTA Satyanarayan Bhusal and Raju Chapagai. Throughout the
training, participants were acknowledged about the sanitary, food, shed management and some
important medicines required for goats.
Agriculture group was also formed with 5 members for the convenient collaboration and
interaction with each other. After the training participants were given knowledge about leech
medicine, stress management medicine and tagging goat in its ear. Goats were injected for anti-
allergy.
